Our story
Representation Grounded in Service
People's Party New Zealand Incorporated was founded by Mr Alani Fisher Taione to ensure that the voices, needs and aspirations of everyday New Zealanders are reflected in public policy and political leadership.
The Party is committed to lawful, transparent and accountable political participation. It believes political authority comes from the people and must be exercised in service to them.
In God, we trust. We will do our best, and God will do the rest to serve the people of Aotearoa New Zealand in truth and honesty.

Founder, President and Party Leader
The founder provides strategic leadership, chairs the Governing Board and safeguards the Party's founding principles, vision and discipline.
The leadership model is supported by a Governing Board, officers, committees and democratic participation through Party conferences and membership processes.
